How to get to Malangen

Malangen is 70 minutes drive south of Tromsø. It is possible to get to the resort by car, bus and boat. With an international airport in Tromsø, as well as at Bardufoss - about as close - the resort is centrally located in a beautiful and undisturbed fjord landscape.

ALONG THE ROAD
The easiest way to get to Malangen Resort is by car or bus. The resort has buses and minibuses that can be booked on request. In addition, our bus runs on a regular route during the winter months (1.Dec - 31.March).

Nearest airport

Malangen is 70 minutes drive south of Tromsø. It is possible to get to the resort by car, bus and boat. With an international airport in Tromsø, as well as at Bardufoss - about as close - the resort is centrally located in a beautiful and undisturbed fjord landscape.

From Tromsø and Tromsø Airport, a shuttle bus runs at fixed times between 1 December and 31 March.

By car

Malangen is located 70 minutes' drive south of Tromsø in the Malangen fjord. The resort is centrally located in a beautiful and undisturbed fjord landscape.

Many of our guests arrive by rental car, and it is possible to rent a car at Tromsø Airport.

Shuttle bus 1 Dec-31 March

During the winter months, we offer direct transportation between Tromsø city center and Malangen Resort.
The bus also stops at Tromsø Airport.

 Tickets must be booked at least 48 hours before departure, there is no transportation if there are no tickets sold.
Price per person / per way is 495NOK.

If you are going to Malangen Resort, we can provide transportation to/from Tromsø - Malangen Resort.
Our minibus runs between Tromsø/Tromsø Airport and Malangen on request.

01 Dec - 31 April Price is 995,-/adult and 597,-/child.
April 01 - November 31 Price is 595,-/adult and 357,-/child.

Other useful information
Minibus runs on request. There may be several guests on the same bus.
We recommend booking the Flexi shuttle well in advance as we only have one minibus available.
If there is no available capacity on our Flexi shuttle, our Shuttlebus is also available in the period December 1 - March 31.

How to book
If you wish to book a ticket, please contact booking@malangenresort.com and state the date/time of the desired transportation.

Booking requests must be made at least 48 hours before the desired departure, but preferably in connection with booking.

It is also possible to take a taxi from Tromsø to Malangen Resort.
Price from 2000 NOK for 1-4 persons depending on the day of the week/time of day.
