Malangen Resort is a 70-minute drive south of Tromsø. You can get to the resort by car and bus. With an international airport in Tromsø – and another in Bardufoss equally close – our resort is centrally located in a beautiful and undisturbed fjord landscape.

Malangen Resort is offering you 2 transfers services to reach us :

1. A Shuttle Bus Service to Malangen Resort from Tromsø City Center  operates at fixed times from 1 December to 19 April.
2. A Flexi Shuttle Bus operates transfers to/from Tromsø from 20 April to 30 November.

By car

Malangen Resort is a 70-minute drive south of Tromsø on the shores of the Malangen fjord. The resort is centrally located in a beautiful and undisturbed fjord landscape. Many of our guests arrive by rental car. You can rent a car at Tromsø Airport.

Shuttle Bus 1 Dec – 19 Apr

We offer direct transport between downtown Tromsø and Malangen Resort during the winter months. The shuttle bus operates as a transfer service with scheduled departures.

From Tromsø City Center to Malangen Resort

— 08:00 departure from Tromsø City — 09:30 arrival at Malangen Resort
— 12:30 departure from Tromsø City — 14:00 arrival at Malangen Resort

From Malangen Resort to Tromsø City Center

— 10:00 departure from Malangen Resort — 11:30 arrival at Tromsø City
— 16:00 departure from Malangen Resort — 17:30 arrival at Tromsø City

• Rate: NOK 595 per person
• Child under 10: NOK 416 per person
• Capacity: 2-50 passengers

Useful Information

• Meeting point: Enter Amalie Hotel in the centre of Tromsø
• Tickets must be booked at least 48 hours prior to departure
• The shuttle bus service does not operate if no tickets have been sold
• Charge applies for waiting if guests arrive late for agreed pick-up

Flexi Winter Shuttle

For flexible transportation needs, we offer our Flexi Winter Shuttle service available anytime during the winter season.

• Price: NOK 12,500

We can provide transport between Tromsø and Malangen Resort.
Our minibus operates between Tromsø/Tromsø Airport and Malangen on request as from 20 April to 30 November.
NB: This offer is subject to the availability of the minibus at the time you wish to book transport. Please contact us well in advance.

Useful information
The minibus operates on request. There may be several guests on the same minibus.
We recommend booking the flexi shuttle well in advance as we only have one minibus available.

How to book
If you wish to book the flexi shuttle, please send an email to booking@malangenresort.com stating your desired transport date/time.
Booking requests must be made at least 48 hours before the desired departure time, but preferably at the time of booking.

It’s also possible to take a taxi from Tromsø to Malangen Resort.
The fare is from NOK 2000 for 1-4 people. However, the fare varies depending on the day of the week/time of day.
