Head out onto the fjord by boat and see if the fish are biting.
Malangen is popular fjord for fishing and, if you’re lucky, you can catch a variety of fish species. The most common are cod and saithe, while there are flounder and halibut near the bottom. It’s also possible to catch sea trout and the occasional salmon.
The open aluminium boat “Big Tug” can be rented at the resort with or without guide. Although there is space for up to six people, we recommend having no more than four adults on board. For guests with knowledge of boats, this is a golden opportunity to have a peaceful time at sea on your own or with others while trying to catch the “big one”.
