Snowshoeing under the evening sky

Being outside in the evening increases your chances of experiencing the Northern Lights. Snowshoeing under the evening sky is an informative activity that takes you out and about in the white winter landscape at the resort. With only our headlights showing the way, we walk up to where the winter wilderness starts, just above the resort. Sheltered from artificial light sources, we explore open areas that are ideal for observing and photographing the Northern Lights.

Our guide will provide a detailed explanation of the Northern Lights and help any guests who require assistance with camera settings.

We will stop along the way to light a bonfire, which we can sit around to warm up and relax. We will serve hot drinks and biscuits before beginning the walk back down to the resort starts.
