Snowmobile experience

This excursion is perfect for first-time snowmobile riders. The scenic route follows an open trail across expansive, closed snowy terrain, offering beautiful views towards the fjord. After some safety lessons, our guide will let you drive all around. Snowmobiles are shared in pairs – one driver and one passenger- with the opportunity to switch roles halfway through the tour.

IMPORTANT NOTES
– All drivers must be aged 18 or over and hold a valid driving licence.
– The minimum age for passengers is 8 years old.
– Guests are transported by bus to the starting point, which is a 45-minute drive from Malangen Resort.
– This activity is not allowed for pregnant women and people with physical health problems.

REMEMBER TO BRING
– Warm underwear (wool or fleece is recommended).

Description

This unique excursion is specially designed for people who are going on a snowmobile adventure for the first time and would like to test drive their own. The activity takes place in our own wilderness field not far from the resort grounds. We drive on a prepared trail in an open area on snow covered, flat ground. Guests are able to drive at the speeds which they feel comfortable and safe. We drive in pairs (one driver and one passenger) with the option to switch seats halfway through. All drivers must be over 18 years of age and have a valid driving licence. All passengers must be 8 years of age or older. Please note that there are no exceptions to this rule.Guests are transported by bus to the starting point, approximately 15 minutes.

TIMING

You can book this experience at 10:00, 12:30, or 14:30. (14.30 only available on certain dates, when the first two departures are fully booked)

The total duration of the snowmobiling is about 45min to 1h

2790 NOK (Supplement of 1750 NOK in case of single use)

INCLUDES

  • All equipment: helmet, warm thermal suit, boots, gloves and hat
  • A hot light meal (vegetarian food is served if prior notice is given)
